lol...of course i know her...heheh....she's popular, she had an american album, but i was disappointed because her songs in that album weren't as good as her Japanese albums

she doesnt try to make her voice sound cutesy when she sings
She plays a big part in the writing and producing of her songs
She's a great artist all around

She's still working on her second US Album and I hope it comes out soon in 2009 like January because the last song i heard from her recently was Prisoner of Love.

her first US debute was not very successful...
the songs weren't so catchy...
but her new album is great!
it's called COME BACK TO ME
Her voice is lovely...
hopefully she'll rise in the american industry!!!

Actually, her new album is called This Is The One. Her latest single from it is called 'Come Back To Me' and it's actually pretty good once you get past the shock of hearing it for the 1st few times. There are other songs on the CD that are much better and the whole album overall is pretty good.
I think that 4 Hikki in America it's just like the title: This Is The One.

Yeah, that song wasn't really all that lyrically, but some of the other songs on the cd are much better. I don't think she did too bad with this one though considering she's trying to be recognized and rise more on the American music scene than she did with her Easy Breezy and You Make Me Want To Be A Man singles. To do that she has to appeal to the general and not so...'intelligence appreciative'.....audiences and be a little more mainstream than usual. I think that if that was what she was going for, she did pretty well. It has to grow on you, though...

Of course I know her. I think This is the One is my favourite album but I wish some of the songs were better like Automatic Part II and Crying Like a Child.
I heard her Japanese single wasn't becoming out in June, I wish it would come out soon.

The one from the the first game was Simple and Clean in the U.S. and Hikari in Japan. The one from the second game was Sanctuary in the U.S. and Passion in Japan. Even though both versions have the same basic melodies, their lyrics are actually very different if you get them translated.
