Official Site/Trailer: http://films.tartanfilmsusa.com/oldboy/

Starring:
Choi Min-sik
Yu Ji-tae
Kang Hye-jeong
Ji Dae-han

From IMDB:
1)
An average man is kidnapped and imprisoned in a shabby cell for 15 years without explanation. He then is released, equipped with money, a cellphone and expensive clothes. As he strives to explain his imprisonment and get his revenge, he soon finds out that not only his kidnapper has still plans for him, but that those plans will serve as the even worse finale to 15 years of imprisonment.

2)
On the day of his daughter's birthday, Ho Dae-su (Min-sik Choi) gets completely drunk and is arrested. His best friend No Joo-hwan (Dae-han Ji) releases him from the police station, and while calling home from a phone booth, Dae-su vanishes. Indeed he has been abducted and imprisoned in a room for fifteen years. One day, he is suddenly released, receives clothes, money and a cellular and meets the Japanese chef Mido (Hye-jeong Kang), and they feel a great attraction for each other. However, Dae-su seeks for his captor and the reason of his long imprisonment. While looking for revenge, Dae-su discloses deep secrets from the past.

End IMDB

Okay... the first thing I want to say is that this movie is DEFINITELY RATED R! Please if you are sensitive to violence, sexuality, and language, please do NOT WATCH! It is extremely violent. It is graphic both violently and sexually. Also, some of events of the plot are very sick and twisted.

So, this movie incredible. It is definitely one of my favorite Asian movies. The storyline and trailer seems maybe dumb at first, but watching it is absolutely different. It became much more complex than what you think. You become confused and lost just as the character is. It's a big mystery that doesn't become revealed until the end.

I'm not really good at saying anything about the movie without giving anything away, but this movie blew me away...

This is a DEFINITE watch (unless like I said above, you are sensitive). I think I remember hearing this is one of the top all time movies in the world or something. But this movie has received A LOT of good reviews.

I watched this movie two weeks ago and I loved it! It's brutal, intriguing and breath-taking, unpredictable 'till the very end. One of the best korean movies I ever watched, along with 'Samarian girl'. Not for scardy-cats though.

I now watched 'Sympathy for Lady Vengeance' but Old Boy was better. Still, it was good.
Nobody else watched Old Boy?? I can't believe it, it's a 'must' watch!
