Since everyone is talking about their favorite authors, I should too. One of my favorite author for romance books is Gena Showalter. She's a great writer and very inspiring in a way. She puts humour in them to make the book more fun and very interesting to read. Like The Nympth King and The Stone Prince I just love her books. Maybe someone should try reading her books. I think it's a good book.  Cheesy I have more other authors too. And I'll name them whenever I get a chance. Here are some of the books I've read couple of months ago and they're good books.

The Nympth King by Gena Showalter(paranormal romance)
Females young and old, beautiful and plain crave Valerian's touch. None can resist his blatant sensuality and potent allure...until he steals Shaye Holling from Florida beach and holds her prisoner in his underwater kingdom. The cynical Shaye wants nothing to do with the mighty warlord, but she's inexplicably drawn to him. For underneath the warrior's arrogant beauty lies a complex and powerful man. A man whose caress is like fire...Now Valerian must fight for the privilege of claiming her as his own. Because there's one thing Shaye doesn't know...That when a nymph discovers his true mate, she's his for life.

Shadow Fires by Catherine Spangler(futuristic romance)
From The Shadows...
Jenna dan Aron lived a solitary existence, shunned by her people because she could see the future. She even foresaw her own destiny: to be a human offering, a mate for a savage Leor warlord.  When two Shielder colonies had to be rescued and the Leors who were their only hope demanded a bride for their leader in return, Jenna stepped forward. She would not defy fate.
Into The Fires

Arion of Saura found mating outside his race abhorrent, but he had no choice, as his kind faced extinction. His life was ruled by hard logic and phsyical prowess, with no room for softness or emotion. Bound to him, Henna faced a life of barbarism with a mate who seemed more beast than man. But in the relentless heat of the wild Sauran desert, Jenna and Arion would wage a battle of wills until they discovered that the heart was mightier than any weapon-and that love would forge shadow and fire together.

Desire by Amanda Quick(historical romance)
Upon her father's death, beautiful, headstrong Lady Clare knew that she must wed, for the protection of the Isle of Desire now fell to her. Yet when her guardian's choice of prospective husband rode through her castle gates, she felt utterly betrayed. All sinewy muscle and savage steel, Sir Gareth of Wyckmere was not the poet she'd requested but a fearsome knight whose only interested was in war. Legions of robbers had fallen beneath the Hellhound of Wyckmere's sword, and now his bold warrior was certain that he could tame one willful wife. Yet even Gareth could not deter Lady Clare from trying to mold him into her ideal...until their clash of wills ignited a passion that set them both aflame...and a treacherous plot put their and their lives in deadly peril.

I have more favorite authors, like Christina Dodd(I think that's how you spell it, not sure), Juila Quinn and well, I have a lot more. As of right now, I'm waiting for Breaking Dawn to come out and I'm going to the bookstore to reserve for the book so I can buy it when it comes out.

Hmm, the best book I can think of is Dean Koontzs Lightning. It has a really interesting plot and several sci-fi elements to it that intrigued me.  Im not much of a fan of Koontz, but I did like that book Other than that, I got nothing XD
